Exciting news for Denverites focusing on their Summer shape.  My friend and long-time trainer Chris Williamson owner of The Gym is seriously stepping the fitness game up in the Mile High and changing lives, figures and habits in the process.  The Gym is opening a new Uptown location, 1900 Grant Street, and shortly after will DOUBLE it’s current Broadway location space and shuffle just blocks North!

A huge undertaking but not surprising for a place I have watched grow since my arrival to Denver four years ago.  I have seen the transformation of a small gym family into a life changing community, with a no trainee left behind attitude.  The Gym has cultivated and nurtured the fit and healthy lifestyles of the likes of media personalities to MMA Fighters, Pro fitness competitors to making bikini babes out of new moms.  There is a place for everyone at The Gym hence its growth.

Jekyll & Hyde has arrived Denver and is now playing at Buell Theatre at The Denver Center of Performing Arts until February 10th. Performance times: Tue-Sat 7:30pm, Sat 2pm, Sun 1pm & 6:30pm.  This pre-Broadway tour stars the incomparable Grammy nominated Deborah Cox and America Idol alum Constantine Maroulis.

I had the pleasure of attending opening night of the 2 week production and AMAZING doesn’t even begin to describe this show.  The vocals were perfection, in fact there were numerous times that I experienced goose bumps, and not just from the lead characters but the supporting cast as well.  The scenic and costume designs added movement and aesthetics to the show that made you feel like you were actually a part of the story.  What I loved most about the show was although the stars are well known performers Deborah and Constantine brought their characters such life that you really buy into what they’re selling.  After the show I was lucky enough get to spend a little time with Deborah and “Connie” (as she calls him) who were absolutely gracious and accommodating even after their physically demanding performance for the first time at 5280 above sea level

Well, it appears that Hulk Hogan is ready to face reality over the source of his secret sex tape.  Hulk has gone on a media circuit vowing to go after who ever secretly recorded him engaging in sexual activity and released it to the media.  Now after a mountain of evidence it appears Hulk didn’t have to go too far.  He’s now suing his best friend radio host Bubba the Love Sponge and the co-star of the sex tape (who was the wife of Bubba) Heather Clem Cole for conspiring to secretly videotape him.

There is also a lawsuit being filed against the media outlet who posted the tape and Hulk has been in touch with the FBI.  This is a ZOO…  How will it all end up?

We all remember the “Lifetime Network-Like” story of Tareq and Michaele Salahi…  You know, the the classic story of couple crashes White House State Dinner in 2009, it catapults them into the media spotlight, lands them a spot on BRAVO’s Real Housewives D.C.  Later Tareq reports wife Michaele as missing but it turns out she REALLY ran off with Journey guitarist, Neal Schon, whom she had been having a long-term on and off relationship with.

Well, now, as with every fairytale there is a happy ending.  Neal proposed to Michaele Sunday evening at a benefit Journey was performing at.  The bling is 11.42 carats!  Michaele was reportedly surprised, she was probably just exhausted as her divorce from Tareq just became official in August, how do people have the energy for all of this drama??  See how it all went down:

It lasted nine years but Russell Crowe and his wife Danielle Spencer have split up.  The actor and musician were seldom together with Russell’s busy travel schedule.  The schedule proved too much to keep their marriage alive.  The couple share two children Tennyson, 6, and Charles, 8, who reside with their mother in Australia.

LOVE tacos but not a fan of the pounds you can pack on eating them?  Try this recipe to trick your brain and satisfy your craving without destroying your diet.  Add the following cooked ingredients:

4oz of cooked meat (shredded grilled chicken breast, lean steak or ground beef)

4oz of rice or cubed potatoes

1 cup of green veggies (chopped spinach, asparagus, string beans or broccoli)

A dash of ground cumin, oregano, parsley, garlic powder, basil, powder cheese sprinkles, red and black pepper

Mix it all together in a bowl…  ¡Olé!

It really was unclear as to why Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore have yet to divorce, after all it has been almost a year!  It seems that the two are squabbling over money.  Ashton is reluctant to enter into a financial settlement that would please Demi and therefore it has become a stalemate in the divorce proceedings.

Personally, I think that Demi might also be holding on a bit to her hubby, 15 years her junior.  It can’t be easy being cheated on publicly and then have him openly dating Esquire Magazine’s “Sexiest Woman Alive.”  But for now, this union separation will come down to one thing, finances…  So will Ashton give in??

If you’ve been following Tori Spelling news you’d know that the actress/reality TV star has had some major medical emergencies since giving birth to her fourth child Finn Davey on August 30th.  It turns out that Tori suffered from a condition called placenta previa which can lead to internal bleeding!

It was widely publicized that 3 weeks after Finn’s birth Tori was readmitted into the hospital.  Medical professonials say that she’s lucky to not have had to have a termination or hysterectomy to save her life.  Luckily Tori is now a happy and healthy mom to her four children: Liam, 5, Stella, 4, Hattie, 10 months and Finn, 6 weeks.

The only thing more shameful than Lindsay Lohan being back in the news for her drunken antics is that her 50 year old mother, Dina, is also involved…  Hillbilly much?  The story goes that Lindsay and her mother were partying Tuesday night at Electric Room in the Dream Hotel in New York City.  This is the hotel owned by the MULTI-millionaire, Vikram Chatwal, who Lindsay has been very friendly with in the past.  It is also the same hotel Lindsay was accused of hitting a pedestrian in the parking lot of last month.

Apparently the altercation started when the mother-daughter duo were being chauffeured back home to Long Island around 4am (EST) when an argument started.  The altercation became even more heated when they arrived home and became violent with some physical injuries and property damages sustained.  Lindsay accused her mother and the driver of holding her against her will.  The police were called to the scene.

Ten bucks says the fight started over something stupid like Dina borrowed Lindsay’s lip gloss and lost it…  That’s generally how most 4am drunken altercations start…  Even with your Mom…  If you’re a hillbilly…

Update:

There are conflicting reports on what caused the fight.  Some sources are reporting the argument started over $40K Lindsay gave to her mother and wanted back.

Other sources are saying that the fight was over the fact that Lindsay wanted to take her car service back to a NYC hotel while Dina wanted to take the car service to her home in Long Island.  Dina won that battle but ultimately they both come off as losers in the end.

Everyone seems to agree that alcohol was a factor…  DUH!
